VFCA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving many while focusing on helping Native American veterans, all U.S. military veterans, and their families living on or near Tribal lands and Indian Reservations.
We are committed to honoring the service and sacrifice of our nation's veterans by providing programs, resources, and community partnerships that improve lives and strengthen families. Our work focuses on increasing access to healthcare, housing, food assistance, education, transportation, and veteran benefits while preserving the cultural values and traditions of Native communities.
Through compassion, collaboration, and respect, VFCA empowers veterans and their families to overcome challenges, build brighter futures, and thrive within their communities. Founded by CEO Paul Mark Bayangos, his U.S. Army Veteran spouse, and three other founders, VFCA is committed to developing programs and initiatives that provide essential assistance to Veterans and their families in need.
VFCA’s mission is to provide critical resources, including food assistance, clean water, personal care items, medical supplies, utility support, education programs, transportation to VA facilities, and other services through partnerships with agencies, donors, charitable organizations, and corporate sponsors.
To support Native and American Veterans and their families through partnerships with agencies and programs that provide essential resources, promote self-sufficiency, and improve quality of life. Services include food assistance, emergency shelter, housing support, meal programs, treatment services, animal welfare programs, job training, and support for children of Veterans affected by suicide.
VFCA is committed to working closely with community partners to understand local needs, respect existing programs, and provide meaningful support. By delivering resources based on community requests and needs, VFCA ensures assistance creates a positive and lasting impact for Native Veterans and their families
